the wheel studs and bolts hold the disc in place. :?

those are called shims.

no idea where you can get them. Usually the agents are knobs and only sell it with the caliper rebuild kit for $$$$$$.

But there are a lot of spare s13 brakes on this forum, so maybe someone can hook you up.

I'm sure you get them with new pads. Even with my golf I got them with a new set of pads.

There seems to be some confusion here..

Ettiene are you talking about the plates that fit at the flat surface behind the pad?
or
the little shims that hold the tips of the brake pads on each end? The shim is the one that holds both pads at the top and bottom.

The flat plates behind the pad should come with a set of new brake pads. If it doesn't it's no big deal.

But the shims on the end hold the pad in in position.

Gary on the Z32 calipers it uses pins that go through the caliper and through holes in the pads. So it doesn't use the metal plate shims afaik. They do sell the pins seperately.

I think he is talking about the anti rattle plates that sit at either end of the pads (top and bottom).

Yes DocG,I made my own pins. The anti rattle plate the goes over the top of the pads is what I am missing, cross shaped thin plate. I am using silicone now, works 100%.
