I dont think the sx has thaaat many major issues, trust me the guys with the rx7's, skyline's, zx's, subaru's etc have just as much running costs... but it is true you have to love a sx to want to keep it and put up with it...

i think the best deal would be RB25SX's s14 with the rb25det conversion. heaps of power, got all the goodies, and shouldnt give much hassles.
