Dump valve opinion

Post by suske »

Hey all was hoping anyone could give me their opinion on this dump valve
http://www.autostyle.co.za/product/1769 ... Dumpvalve/

i currently have this in my car and before someone comments it was on the car when i bought it...

Is it worth while or must i change it??

Secondly it has an adjustable screw at the back what would that adjust the dump niose or the pressure??

Thanks :)

The screw would adjust the tension on the spring that keeps the valve shut.
Keep in mind that if you are still running a AFM the blow of valve will influence your fuel consumption.

Its an HKS knockoff - nice sounding, brilliant for low boost app. For high boost app u would want somthing like a TIAL.

On the HKS the screw is a nice feature, it allows you to set up how much boost pressure u want to maintain in ur system. Finding a good balance is upto ur preference. Although it sounds better at low boost to dump all pressure, u want to maintain some pressure for quick changes sothat it does not take to long to re-pressurize ur system.

Probably Lol as in, clean and scrape terminals properly then try again. Probably not making proper contact. Ur car can't just stop running because injectors were unplugged, I think ur safe bud. Unless they shorted somin when u unplugged...
