Timing

I set the timing spot on all the dots correspond but what i dont understand is when they talk about degrees what do they mean ?

you may think all the dots are inline but it very hard to check correctly without all the pulleys off including the bottom one

have you counted the number of teeth on the belt should be

39 teeth from the intake line to the exhaust line then you need to check from the exhaust to the crank which should be about 49 if i remember correctly

They are reffering to amount of degrees before top dead centre (when piston 1 is at the top of it's travel)
