i've never been one to avoid admitting where i'm wrong, and i always appreciate a good schooling. i might be an old dog, but i love learning new tricks!
You and gary where 100% right, Poizen should replace those caps as soon as possible in the interest of keeping a well maintained vehicle.
But, there will be no noticeable difference in performance, consumption or reliability with or without the caps, so as far as a temporary solution is concerned 10/10 for poizen!
the chances are he could drive the car like that for the next 100000km without ever experiencing any other problems, but it's best not to temp Murphy.
veecee, i don't for one second believe i could school you. But what i will say is that I've never met anyone i couldn't learn from, no matter how insignificant the information was.
