what size to use?
86mm, 86,5mm, 87mm or even bigger?
i am thinking of using VG30dett piston size 88mm^^
should i use HKS sleeves? i think the wall are too thin..

as far as I understand VG30 pistons are 87mm. I was looking at them as well for my SR. However the crown is not as recessed as the SR so the compression will go up. You will need to use a thicker head gasket to fit them. They do however fit and other than the top which is different they are the same...

Get chev V8 pistons, 101.6mm, and if you buy a full set you'll have 4 spare.
