PFB Hillbilly Injector Cleaning Guide

Howzit Guys

I thought I would write a small injector cleaning guide for those people that would like to clean there 13 year old injectors.

*Note* Please be careful when removing the injectors from you fuel rail the will still be some fuel in the rail also be careful not to drop or damage the injector in anyway especially the pentil

Items Needed: 1 x AA 1.5v Battery, Carb Cleaner,Insulation Tape, Wire, Crimps, Container, two larger lengths of pipe and you dirty injectors

You will need t build the following items.

Battery:

Increasing size tube:

All the items:

Now you will need to remove the injectors internal filter

how to attach the hose to the injector

Image

Start you cleaning *Remember* to reverse flush the injector as well

1. how do you remove that little filter? i've never tried, so that will be some new info in my repository!

2. my fiance' would put my twig'n'berries in the vice if i used her tuppeware in the garage - IF she found out!

I have kind of worked out a way to clean the injectors on the car for side-feeds like the sentra.

But Im still getting the kinks out. :lol:

if i can get a nice big tub of cleaning liquid, i can use my old sx pump to pressurise the rail...

will that help?

sokar - i have a set of rotary 550cc injectors to clean, numbnuts! thats why! they're exactly the same as the top feed nissan ones!
