I haven't but I knew the owner of a bakkie with a ca18det with that on, everybody said he would have serious lag but the .48 housing helped a lot, it was still slightly laggay but not close to making it a bad move....

Lag remained close to the standard turbo lag, o and it also depends on what the exzaust wheel is made of.....

His engine had stock internals, he just had a knife edged crank and lightened flywheel + balancing and boosted 1.2 bar,it held up for almost 2 years, he broke it in a drag race at tarlton because he kept going in 3rd to over 9000 revs when he hit a bearing because of that.

Sounds impressive. Do you what kind of power he made? Wanted this turbo as I'm thinking of using it on my CA while its still around, then move it over when i get an SR motor

That turbo works well on SR20 with not too much lag. Shouldnt be too bad on CA18.

Besides the .48 on the exhaust side. What other specs should I use to try to minimise lag as much as possible and get full boost around 4000rpm.

You will be boosting before that......if you wanna help a little, instead of going with 76mm boost pipes, use 63.
