Ok First off I must say thanks to Hennie for his help in all this.

I have installed a 3 inch intake piping and CAI
444 cc Injectors
N62 MAF

The wiring might be incorrect on the MAF I need to double check but the car does start, but goes very lean when I touch the petrol.

The intake pipe is great will all the pumping needed for the Rec BOV and I had the injectors cleaned and reversed flushed with Special cleaner here at work.

Also got a new add on a 80MM full stainless steel exhaust with jap style back box. Total kick ass Pic's will follow tonight.

Pic's to follow just need to upload

What power are you hoping for cause 444cc arent much bigger that the stock injectors??

Please post pics of the CAI.

Yep should have got a little bigger but its better then the 370cc only picked up problem with my set-up in the past couple of weeks I still cant figure out how I got my last dyno numbers of 150RWKW (200WHP), I mean lets factor in drive train losses at 20% so 240 Flywheel HP now using any good Injector calculator

Injector size: 370 cc/min injectors (35.2 lbs/hour)
Number of injectors: 4
BSFC: 0.60
Duty cycle: 100%
This combination will supply fuel for 234 horsepower at 100% duty that means at the end of the run I was going lean, Now factor in the extra mods I added and aggressive timing no wonder my ring landing said good-bye, Did a comp test on my new piston luckily the forged stuff is holding up better.

Now With 444cc
Injector size: 440 cc/min injectors (41.9 lbs/hour)
Number of injectors: 4
BSFC: 0.60
Duty cycle: 1
This combination will supply fuel for 279 horsepower

But you should never run your injectors to around 100% duty so 444cc at 85% duty will see the below guess I need to bump the fuel pressure just a little just to be on the safe side.

Injector size: 440 cc/min injectors (41.9 lbs/hour)
Number of injectors: 4
BSFC: 0.60
Duty cycle: 0.85
This combination will supply fuel for 237 horsepower

But one thing I can’t understand is why Mr Calibrator once said that he was able to make a car produce 200RWKW on 370cc injectors, what I would like to know is at what fuel pressure and even then there is a very lean condition with a high chance of dripping from the injectors and bad atomization

Well I ran 162RwKw with the stock injectors but I almost guarentee that it was 100% duty cycle. When I was looking for injectors I needed 600cc but then I couldnt afford it.

What is your ms on idle?? I am running 1.6ms and even then the idle is erratic because it is so low, trying to get 600cc to idle would be a nightmare.

I think they had pasted 100% duty cycle even if you bumped the fuel pressure

I will check but you can just change the injector latency to get them to fuel nicely that what I did on mine this weekend.

She started and had a quick run around the block yesterday. She does have a Small problem with seriously over fueling at low RPM like 11-12 AFR

Its Alive!!! Its Alive!!!

All I can say is road tuning takes a hell of a long time but I am very happy with the results this was the best R 200 petrol I have ever spent.
The car is running great after fiddling with the fuel maps for about three hours on the road the power really started coming on, Idle has been set to 14.7 AFR giving a nice Idle even when cold, 60km, 100km and 120 km cruise have an AFR of 14.0 to 14.4 (Peak power N/A) and boost ramp is 13.7 to 12.7 and Full throttle is a 12 to 12.7 AFR.

She really pushes you back in the seat when you jump on the peddle and I still need to work on the timing as she is running the stock map, After looking at the aggressive timing curve on the Mines and Jtune RB25DET maps I’m surprised that motor doesn’t self-destruct, we will take a degree at a time and watch that Knock monitor.

And you cant plug a narrow band (O2 sensor into the stock ECU it doesn’t have the hardware to read the input)

12-12.7 is quite lean hey, how does it run at that AFR?? Also when cruising you can run it leaner than 14.7 hey, I run mine at 15.5.

Different Stokes for different foks.

12 is exactly where I want her 11 and 10 are power robbing but you just have to be easy on the timing most tuned chips take this fueling stance also when she’s in N/A mode 14.2 is the best power mixture for an N\A the GTR runs the same fueling yep she’s going to be a bit heavier on the juice but I don’t drive here to JHB anymore also you must feel the throttle response damn but thanks for the help gary

What timing are you running then at full load with AFR of 12:1?? I am running 23degrees at 11.8-11.5:1. Also what timing are you running when cruising in vacuum, -0.2Bar??
