I am not sure what the equivalent of a Honda Civic or Mazda Miata is there in SA, but people here in the states typically go for one of those batteries. Others have used lawn mower batteries.
Honda Civic is a Honda Civic in SA, The Miata is an MX5

Does anyone know were I can get a battery box from? Do normal battery places carry these?
The guys that relocated their battery, how to you have it mounted? In a battery box or what?

you should put it in a battery box, try your local spares shop.
or autozone - they do sponsor us after all!

Thanks! That was great advice. I phoned the closest boat shop to me and they had exactly what I needed
I'm probably do the relocation 2day, and then hopefully write up an article for others interested in how to do it.
