A Properly built RB26 with all the turbo goodies and stuff can set you back in the region of R300 000.

should make around 800 - 850 HP - maybe a bit more (depending on boost and what turbos u use - or if you go single tubby).

i was taken for a spin in this car (back then it was 'only' boosting 0,7bar) and GAWD is this thing insane!

Now i know for sure why i got a GTR ... :D

Its lekke easy, just find somone to bribe, Law is law, and the law states it is NOT permitted.

Which is why every few days another car gets crushed as they catch up with their paperwork

LOL ... well if that is the way you wanna go ...sure thing ... maybe that is how you do it in PE ... but not how we did it.
We did EVERYTHING completely legit. Car is even registered. With legit papers and all clearances.

that, and beside the fact that all the importing etc was done according and in compliance with all rules and regs.

Hence the rather big sums of money (import VAT, Towing / Transport, Registration, etc) .

Here is a hint - certain SACU countries have few or no issues with imports. After 6 months of a vehicle being registered in one, you can move the car freely back and forth within SACU countries. Simply a transport of goods within the same Customs union - and as such not subject to any more taxes.

Or you could do like rezlo hinted and try bribing... generally that is a bad idea, though. But then Rezlo seems to have a few of those.

It is against the law, to protect the local car market. If there was a way around it a lot more people would do it because even with fee's taxes ectr it would still be cheaper than buying local.
