thats what i think the problem is...Rezlo apparently doesnt deal with the 200sx club anymore....I just think the guys are like anyone else....they keen for the stuff but when they hear the price, it just becomes impossible...S13 owners are normally associated with not having much money or not spending alot...I mean teh bottom line is that they are cheap cars generally....but the parts that go with them are definantly not...

Not my intension, but unfortunately a fact all-around, thats one of the reasons why I don't have one, the maintenance is high.

i reckon performance parts are expensive, but not more so than for a honda or a toyota or whatever!!!jap spec wrote:Got an S13 to...so i know parts are expensive
the nissan genuine OEM parts are more costly, but once the thing is reliable again, i dont think its that expensive. *kicks murphy in the gonads* once you get it running reliably, then its merely a matter of regular maintenance.
these days people are willing to easily spend 10's of thousands on maintenance plans.

Before I got my intercooler from Vlade, I got a quote from Nissan for a new one.... R12500veecee wrote:i reckon performance parts are expensive, but not more so than for a honda or a toyota or whatever!!!jap spec wrote:Got an S13 to...so i know parts are expensive

yeah warren...
these are old cars, and they do require some money to get them back to a actually reliable state of being!
i think i've spent at least an extra 15 grand on top of the original cost to get it to where it is now!!!
but i hardly ever have trouble anymore *farts in murphy's general direction again!* and i now know the car inside out!!! so any work needed to be done can generally be done in my garage!
