Re: Exhaust
best exhaust is no exhaust!!!!!
the turbo gives the needed back presure so no burnt valves .
ps fit 76mm with one box you will be smiling

Re: Exhaust
Agreed, fit a 76mm. When I had the car I had that pipe on with only the backbox.......it f*#kin LOUD! Car alarms go off when you drive past it!
It wont do any damage to the exhaust, but you wont benefit in power.

Re: Exhaust
Hi guys, my CA is stock std and I want to upgrade my exhaust system to 76mm but getting alot of conflicting views from exhaust fitters, such as the T25 turbo lifespan will be reduced due to the diameter of the pipe "76" ,,, others claim 63mm is the best option as the turbo exhaust housing maybe example 45/50 mm so 76 is way too big. I would appreciate some input from you guys ... If any of you have fitted a bigger exhaust system to your std CA, what was the advantages and disadvantages ... Thx guys in advance for any and all your advisee.

Re: Exhaust
Slight performance gain especially when you remap the ecu, also better spooling....k.y.l.e. wrote:Thanks guys so i should go 76mm and would that give me a slite performance upgrade or alot.
