I'm in need of a solenoid valve for the S13. Mine just suddenly stopped working. If anybody got one spare, please let me know.

Thanks.

It's the small thing at the turbo side on the body of the car where the vacuum hoses of the fuel pressure regulator goes on.

OH  sorry i some how completely missed the thread title

just bypass it, its a hot start solinoid to aid in starting the car when its hot. Mines been bypassed for 2 years and iv never had a problem starting it.

Image

Just connect a pipe from the plenum straight to the FPR, remembering to block or completly remove the other pipes connected to the solinoid

It's the thing just below the power converter. It's a round cylinder type thing with two vacuum pipe connectors on top and one connector on the side.

Daniel, you don't want to get rid of yours, or what do you want for it?

daniel is right - although i do have an adjustable FPR, i removed mine and replace it with a straight line to the FPR.

so i have one lying around.

only issue would be that you no longer have a CA18det, and does the SR20det react in the same way if you remove this part???

have you checked the manual.

The S14 don't work with it, but I just thought that it would aid in the starting when it's hot.

When I bypassed mine , My car ran like Crap...

I know have a Nismo FPR and it still runs like crap disconnected especially with cold starts.

So I put it back in .

One Question why remove it? The ECU needs it for cold Idle control

But I don't think the SR works the same way

Well, it's still on the S13 ECU, so I think I still need it. The car drives like crap when it's cold. It feels like it floods the engine or something.
