Hi Guys
What are your opinions regarding the AEM EMS-4 management systems?
To my understanding its basically "almost" a plug and play option vs the OEM management. Normally we lose some core safety functions when replacing OEM Ecu's with a after market ecu.
With this system it already comes with a base map for your engine and you can use all your stock sensors, (Knock sensor, afm ans) The box even includes options like to increase cc's of the injectors by which it automatically adjusts to the required afm. also you can connect a wide band sensor and the box would adjust to the required A/F ratio! So after you plugged it in you can start it up!
Sounds like one hell of an uprade, its a bit pricey but with all the safety paramaters and the ease this system woud "seem" to be able to perform over the existing systems like Dictator, Go-tech ans it seems to be worth it!!!
With all these cheaper boxes ans knock means BANG! Every Change means another trip to the Dyno, and a mistake by the dyno operator means bye bye pistons. Normally its a struggle to set the correct values for every sensor but this thing has most already on a drop down menu, this thing has the ability to adapt (I.E after fitting bigger injectiors) from a drop down menu!!!

Check it out, im really considering getting one.

I had a look, the device is R1800 (220 dollars) and the lisensing is another R1640 (200 dollars) and the consulting cable is another R800 (R90 dollars) with shipping which is R520 (63 dollars) and import taxes +- R500 the system will cost 5260 which isnt bad!

Hey Ashley!
Kwl thanks! I am definitely going to look into getting the Nistune board. Should be well worth it, considering the nearest thing costs double the amount.
