funny noise coming from gearbox
so to me it sounds like the thrust bearing but it only makes a noise when the clutch starts to engage is a metal on metal scraping wining noise extremely loud anyone got a clue what it could be??

The Thrust bearing noramlly complains when you press the clutch, sounds like it might be your gearbox!

(I will have a spare sx gearbox for sale soon for R2000, i bought a new engine and gearbox for a ok price R9500, saw the importers (TV2 in speed and sound, charges R4500 for the ca18 rwd boxes now so gimme a shout.

the noise really doesnt sound like the gearbox it sounds like the clutch and before i pulled the motor out the box was fine
