VTC Cam Gear - Urgent!

Does nobody or has no body tried rebuilding one.
I was told the spring in it is what collapses and then it starts to "john deer"

I have asked the guys who are doing my engien to try see if they can rectify the problem but i want on ein case it doesnt work.

As for the spring, it has been suspencted that it is this but never confirmed as no one has taken a new one apart to test what spring type is needed. If you can find out exactly what spring is needed then I will gladly be the first to try this.
