Re: Loose Rocker
Hey guy's did a little research and they saying rocker stopers is bad as it prevents the cheap things from braking and causes bigger things to brake how true is this? And my valve bent when my rocker jumped off is there no other way to prevent this from happening?

Re: Loose Rocker
Rocker Arm stoppers is a good idea. Especially as you running uprated cams. Perhaps you should look at improving your vavle springs as you are running a bigger cam than stock.

Re: Loose Rocker
Dont bother with solid lifters. Upgraded springs and retainers is the answer.

Re: Loose Rocker
Well the problem with just going with stiffer springs etc is that it puts even more stress on the lifters. I would go solid lifter but you looking at about a R5000 conversion. Springs and retainers are cheaper and I would do those also. problem is the amount this all ads up to. However it is worth it for a bullet proof head setup. Note though that you will still need rocker stoppers.

Re: Loose Rocker
Hey Phoenix s14 that mod sounds like the head will be bullet proof but very very pricey just the valve springs and retainers alone R2899, wish i had the cash.
