S14 Diff replacement dilema...

Hi all,
Sitting with a bit of a dilema. As I said before the VLSD in my S14 is not locking up (either not at all or very little) so the question i have is - considering the amount my car actually sees the track and that it is not going to become a permanent drifter. what would you do?
1. Fit a helical LSD from the S15 (which I can get)
2. Fit a clutch type 1.5way LSD (Kaaz)
Considering that the S15 diff is 1/2 the price of the Kaaz 1.5 way, the S15 diff works great on circuit racing/autocross/street and that the S15 diff (if looked after and serviced regularly) just about lasts forever. which would you fit? I have spoken to guys who have used the helical diff with great success and the only problem with it is that it is not great for drifting. But does allow some sideways fun just not really long constant drifting.
2 way diffs are crappy to use on the street and welding not really an option for me either. Want to be able to enjoy the car everyday and at our events...
