Hi all http://200sx.za.net/phpBB3/posting.php?mode=post&f=1#
Just a general question - Im looking at picking up a turbo from one of my boys who has a R33 GTS25T as I would like to replace my current standard one as it only starts spooling after 3.5 - 4 rpm . From my understanding the Skyline turbo should be a GT25 which starts spooling from 2rpm, The only down side Iv heard is that the spooling wheel is ceramic so it cant really handle a high boost.
Im looking at servicing and flowing it before I fit it - considering it's only a CA should I bother changing the ceramic wheel cause I doubt Ill be pushing further than 0.8 bar ? and secondly would their be any major mods need on the standard manifold ?
(PS the standard ABS unit is still in place)

its a T28 compressor with a T3 exhaust. Very nice on a CA18 just got to get a different manifold or make a converter. just don't boost more then 0.9 with the ceramic exhaust wheel.

Depends on the kind of mani. Top mount will be tight with the abs still in.MacNello wrote:Ah so its a T3 out - So im gonna need to make up that mani - I wouldn't need to pull out the ABS unit would I ?
