S14 Stalling

Hi guys, need advice please. My S14 is recently stalling Intermittently. So while I am driving at idle it starts to choke and even if I hit the throttle it like suffocates and dies. Thing is though it does not do it all the time. then when it dies it sometimes starts up fine and other times it will just swing and not start and will only start after a few minutes. I have recently done the service changing the plugs also same thing. Any idea why it would do this?

Thanks Boet, thing is I have another AFM that I tested when I had issues with overfueling and it did make a difference with that. Perhaps I should try it again and see.

"starts up fine and other times it will just swing and not start and will only start after a few minutes"
A possible cause could be a failing fuel pump as well..Just throwing it out there..

Check all your pipes for splits

Check the throttle position sensor also. Had issues when I changed the throttle body on my S14. Some small adjustments to make sure the consult says TPS closed when closed and a new map and all was sorted.

oh and I found this but this was like this since I bought the car, there is a slight crack on the one of the coil packs, can this be causing it?

Coilpack will missfire badly like that. As a cheap fix you can try resealing it with silicone gasket. Had a similar problem on my friend's car. Because he has to drive it everyday we resealed it with silicone and then schrunk some sleeving around it. it stopped the missfire but he replaced it eventually.
On the point of the TPS - you need to check the resistance between the pins. on a SR it is between pin B and C. and I think it has to be 0.7k or something. Am sure someone can help you with details on how to check it.
