step by step power up~ HP gain on mods

Post by aep886 »

just found my old dyno paper i had from NZ~!
step by step dyno...

S15 spec-R SR20det
(0,7bar of boost)

standard 149kw @ rear wheel

HKS Air Filter 157kw @ rear wheel
HKS catback exhaust 168kw @ rear wheel
HKS test pipe 173kw @ rear wheel
HKS down pipe 179kw @ rear wheel

the boost rise to 1bar at full throttle, the car feels noticeable quicker~!

HKS GT intercooler 174kw @ rear wheel

A quick check on the data saw ignition timing retard itself around 5000rpm right when it about to make power....

Z32 AFM
HKS F-con V Pro 185kw @ rear wheel

at this point 440cc injector were maxed out~

this shows you can spend around R6000 for the full exhuast and filter and get decent result... to go any further is not cheap...
