ahem...

the original pistons in the ca18det are flat-top style with recesses for the valves. so here is my question then?

what will the new compression ratio be with these pistons and original rods, with the original crank???

the original compression of the motor is low to begin with, with these it looks like it might be even lower (if the rods remain the same), and therefore the ca18det's responsiveness will be more lethargic than normal.

but it does mean that you can run a big turbo on savage boost - but remember then that your rods might kak off!!!

anyway, i bought forged arias pistons for my ca18det about a year ago, and they were R3800-00. the same shop still sells them, and they have gone up to R3900-00. whats up with that???

and do you have a dealership??? what is the recourse with you if something goes wrong with them???
