S13 CA18DET Injectors

Post by RynHelturus »

Hey guys.

After finally getting my SX back on the road, it managed to either destroy (or block it entirely) my #4 Injector. Now its a CA13.5DET due to one cylinder not going with the flow. I was wondering if its the fault of my new fuel pump I installed, a HFP internal pump, or something else? Also, will I need to replace all 4 injectors now with new ones? or can I just replace the 1 thats gone dead (if it cant be repaired)?

Thanks guys :)

hey ryn

i am not sure of the size of the original injector but if u are planing to upgrade ur turbo then u might need bigger injectors. if u planing to do that i would replace them all with 350cc or bigger depending on ur turbo

Yo Adrian

Currently I'm just trying to get it back on the road :D (gonna clean my injectors on Monday, hope it'll run fine then). But eventually I will be upgrading the turbo to something slightly bigger (heard the T28 works fine), so bigger injectors will definitely be on the list aswell. Thanks for the heads-up though ^ _ ^.

The standard on the CA is 370cc, even if you go for a T28 and boost 0.8 bar the 370cc is fine, with a fuel pressure upgrade the 370's will hold 1 bar boost.

PS, if you need 2nd hand injectors...PM me, I have a set.
