I got about 8Km/Lt with the stock ECU and unichip, now with the wolf its down to 5Km/Lt . I am going to get it tuned again, cause that is far too high.

Its easy to get smoothness if you pour the fuel in the trick is getting smoothness with fuel economy and thats what takes time. Which is one of the reasons I take as long as I do to do a map job
I think after Duane had mine I did about 8-10km/l if you don't floor it, which was beter than the stock ECU mine was low 6-7km/l... Gary that is why my map is lean low down
i drove from centurion to Petermaritzburg on a tank. 550'ish km. Not very scientific i know, but i dont want to see how bad my fuel consumtion is. Especially considering i could do the same distance and half way back with my previous car...
and it never broke.
I did once work out to having 3km/L but i was giving it serious welly that day
My SX gives me about 10 to 11 litres per 100KM in city driving.
On the highway, I get about 9litres per 100KM, but that's also not going faster then 150KM/H
My bike costs R70.00 to fill that tank. That's the expensive 95 Octane. I get 290KM of a tank if I drive nicley, or 220KM if I keep it at 190KM/h all the time. That's off 12 frieken litres!!!!!
I think I should put my bike motor in my car!
im gonna get flack for this, but
still, maybe just a point for everyone that wants to "upgrade" their cars, sx or other
it makes me wonder if all these mods are for the better - sure it might raise your dyno chart by 10% or 200%, but why does it always end up with people bitching about their bottom line - consumption?
surely you must realise that we live in SA and that it is gonna bite you in the arse at some time?
my dad used to say something in the line of : "if the highly trained engineers that DESIGNED and worked out the blueprints and had every technological thing possible at their disposal, including hundreds of combined years and big budgets and wind tunnels and and and - if they put a car (for example - could be any product) together, W T F makes you think some cowboy in Welkom can fit stuff willy-nilly and 'improve' on all those li'l
clever japanese chinas?"
i see this every fbloody day
sure, your comeback would be that technology has improved, but think for a second - maybe some Welkom china is just trying to sell you on an idea to just fix his month end, and he will be your bestest of friends before you pay for his "expertise", then after that?
that is when we all start blaming poor Murphy.
(Freddy Murphy? werent you in Police Academy?)
