hey guys im thinking of doing somthing but dont know if it will work

so does any one have a spare maf for me

i want to make a custom maf

instead of a small maf i want a bigger diameter

but wat i want to do is make i pipe the same inlet as my turbo and add my old maf workings into the pipe will this work or am i wasting my time

sum thing like this


my understanding is that all ill be doing is deleting the single chamberthat the maf sits in

It does work, that is what a lot of the Ford guys in the US do when changing to forced induction.

However you do need to change the maf transfer function in the software though. The ecu needs to know what maf voltage = what airflow.
