holset turbo

Post by nirvash »

hey everyone, just been reading about holset turbo's and from what i can see 99% of the review are good, and they dirt cheap. you can get a turbo similar to a gt30r or 35 for like $400...

just want to see what anyone here knows about them and if any1 has used them or knows of some1 using one

just gathering info

sh*t sorry, dont know exactly where i had seen the comparison, was just searching on google and a whole lot of forums etc, search for the holset hx30 or hx35 turbo's and look at the specs, very similar if i remeber correctly, i'l have a look again and see if i can find it

if you search around and google holset turbo specs and reviews, you can find out quite abit

truck turbos, LOL, if you want to use a cheap one then rather look into Borg warner turbos, if you have the extra money then the Bullseye (modified borg warner)

hehe.. aint nothing in this world wrong with truck turbo's, ever stop to think how hard a truck's turbo works??

holset, kkk, ect all good turbo's.. (ANY chinese manufactured turbo is crap, i dont care what anybody says)

the MAIN reason people use garret is because they have so many frame, blade, ect. options and because spares are easily avaidable, not just because they are the best turbo's out there

i must say, i dont mind what the turbo comes of, its beens tested and found to be reliable, and makes good power, so what it comes of is the least of my concern really

my opinion
