Howzit guys...

Total cost R1500 with shipping for both gaskets.

That’s the gasket between the head and injector section and the injector section and intake.

The guys have seen temperature drops as much as 19 C on the intake after fitment the intake will be even cooler with water\meth injection

Dyno chart of proven gains on turbo motors

This dyno chart shows the results from the installation of a ThermoBlok kit on a '89 Ford Probe GT Turbo with an open filter and cat-back exhaust. The tests were done on the same car and same day, same gear, etc, immediately following the spacer installation. The vehicle was fully warmed up for both tests and no other modifications were done.

RESULTS: maximum gain 4.1 horsepower and 5.9 ft-lbs of torque.

This temp chart shows the temp reduction seen at the intake runners and plenum from the installation of a ThermoBlok kit on a '89 Ford Probe GT Turbo. The tests were done on the same car during a steady state 50-70 mph drive followed by idle. Note that even though the lower manifold has coolant running through it, the ThermoBloks still reduce the temperature of the lower manifold which increases the effectiveness of the upper plenum spacer.

RESULTS: Approximately 20°F cooler at cruise and after idle.

I know you can get a few different types of phenolic materials with different specs. The two main types I know are electrical and mechanical. Electrical is more used for its electrical insulating properties and the mechanical can be used for gears and such where mechanical strength is required.

I think you could try contact Maizey plastics, I think they carry a range of phenolic materials.

Not sure if it can be laser cut, but if not you could have it water jet cut.

What sort of thickness are these insulating gaskets?

10 - 12mm thickness

I phoned Maizey plastics in PTA about a Month back when, I wanted to make my own gaskets just the quote, I got from the guy was more then, I paid now.

But let’s see maybe Gary can sort something out for you guys because it really works, The material was something thermal block and needs to withstand around 150 C and 100 c plus for extended periods

I did try to shape an off cut of bakalite, it didnt go to well.

Intake spacers arrived yesterday.

Total Cost: R1630

Will take pictures tonight

Off Topic: Its amazing, I not happy at me for Spending R2K on a new GFX card but, I willing to spent a bunch on cash on plastic.

Personally, I fell it because a car modification keeps giving it doesn’t get out dated every two months

Well guys.

We really need service in SA. The company in the states where, I bought the Gaskets form accidently sent me the wrong stuff but they will send me the correct gasket at no extra charge plus, I don’t need to return the old item.

Now that’s service.

There was a screw-up with my order and the company sent me two of the same intake spacers.

So one is up for sale it fits between the upper and lower intake and has shown some great gains of between 6 - 15hp on turbo application plus lowers the intake temperature

I'm asking R800 for the spacer, I'm not making any profit this was just my cost to bring the item in

you say they sent you two of the same items now you saying they sent you the wrong stuff so are you trying to sell the incorrect gasket

Oh come on dudes, this isnt rocket science...

The CA intake has 2 gaskets, the upper and the lower, they were supposed to send him one of each, but incorrectly sent him 2 lowers, since PFB doent have 2 CA's to fit it to, he is selling 1x lower gasket...
