You need both to run the motor. The upper harness has things like injectors, ignition, water temp, CEL signal, rpm signal, CAS signal etc. The lower harness has speed sensor, knock sensors, reverse switch, neutral switch, oil pressure signal, alternator wires etc. etc.DKSA wrote:What is difference on upper and lower?

To run the motor you'll need the upper and lower harness and if you running the stock ecu you'll need the ignition ignitor module if its a series 1 motor.
