D2 RS Coilover System
The RS coilover system is a 36 way dampner and rebound adjustable monotube full coilover system. The setup has seperate height and preload adjustments allowing for optimal adjustment and allowing full strut travel at all times along with pillowball upper mounts or top mounts*. Mounts are constructed of 6061 powder coated aluminum. Threads are teflon coated to prevent rust. Rebuildable and serviceable in the US.

BC BR Series Street and Circuit Coilover
Pillowball upper mount
Camber adjustable top mounts
Aluminium top plates
30 way adjustable damping
Adjustable spring platform
Height adjustment via bottom mount to retain full damper travel
Bearing mounted upper front spring platform
Dust boot to protect damper seals

The BR series coilovers use a large 44mm diameter piston in a 53mm diameter damper body to maximise oil capacity.

As the damper unit opearates the oil contained within heats up. The viscosity of oil changes as its temperature varies which can lead to changes in the damping characteristic of the unit.

BC Racing only use a very high quality oil with their coilovers but go that extra mile to maximise performance and build their BR range with a large 53mm diameter damper body. This increases the capacity of the unit which increases the volume of oil contained which in turn reduces the peak temperature and so significantly improves damper performance.

In a quick comparisson, the D2 has one "selling point", 36 way adjustable to BC 30 way. (TEIN Flex 16 way... Ohlins 20 way)
But if u feel 6 more clicks on the knob will make u happy, go for D2.
But if u want a bigger shock with better damping controle and more oil for prolonged damping then BC should be better.

1 year warranty, parts available. Factory has gauranteed warranty parts to be supplied very quick (DHL).
Here a pic of the S13 BR-ER Series, just upgraded by the factory. Price should be in the R13K region. if u are interested, I will have to confirm the price as it is special order.

I must say I do like the anodised purple.

Black is more sleeper/stealthy though...

I have a S14 set available now, or a few weeks for next order.

Some reviews:

http://www.i-club.com/forums/vbarticles ... ticleid=10
http://forum.teamfc3s.org/archive/index ... 55531.html
http://www.sxoc.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=402111
http://www.ek9.org/forum/suspension/109 ... eview.html

I had a email from the factory after a discussion regarding competition and pricing, in particular D2, This is the reply i got from the factory:
We heard the rumour from other source that D2 drop their price heaps trying to compete with us. But actually, I think it is just their last desperate move because there is nothing else they can compete with us. Anyway, we don't actually interest to go on price war with them, it will just damage our brand image and quality. Our target is aiming at the major brand like Tein. So please have this in mind to promote our product.
