Who can help me with number for good engine importers. I'm struggling to find the correct 1UZFE motor for my conversion.
I need the LS400 engine, it's got the sump at the front of the engine.
I've tried, Boston, Japan auto, Yebo Moto, MYM auto, engines for africa, Engine Den, Vehtec.
Yebo moto in JHB say they have one but getting there to check is going to be a pain, Yebo moto in PTA say they've got 8 motors but he is not sure.
Anyone that can help?

charel, kan you get a KA24 block?
forum members might also want to checkout other common engine prices, how about a rb25 or rb20? or even something a bit more exotic, like a nismo block???
I'm thinking the 2.4l sounds like its going to make my turbo spool up from idle

it is quite common to turbo the ka24. thats the engine that the sx was delivered with in usa! so its often a budget option for ppl to turbo the ka24, and i've seen it make big power!
but the guys with more money than most usually turf that engine for the sr20det.
hennie - the sumps are interchangeable, so if you can get a good deal on the engine, and maybe find a sump somewhere then that might be an option.
i know most places sell the engines with gearboxes for R5950.00 but i'm not sure which sump is on the most common engines - i have a feeling its probably the middle sump!
