Fueling Fundi's

Hi , I need some assistance / advice.
'92 S13 CA18DET , standard, apart from 76 mm freeflow and aftermarket air filter.
The car was running fine , but has now started to feel like it is holding back when boosting. When cold , it's not so bad , more predominent when warm. At first I thought maybe it was fuel starvation , but after +- 5000 rpm , she pulls like a freight train. If I keep my foot flat from pull off , through the gears , she goes past the stagger in every low rev range and then runs. I am wondering if it isn't over-fuelling, and if so , why and where can I start fiddling ?
Thanks

With the info given....normally fuel pressure or fuel pump....test that and go from there.

Also check youre spark plugs, and if you are losing spark...
I had a similar problem, with me the motor was loosing spark.

Thanks guys. I also suspect fuel. I have re-serviced the car , replacing plugs , filters , etc for just in case.
How will I check the fuel pressure ? Fuel pump ?
Get a gauge of sorts ?

It feels as if the car is being held back and then as the revs climb , she takes off like a rocket !

For what it's worth , I am going to clean up everything. If you have any joy with the FPR , then please let me know.

stock regulator? check if it were bashed in to increase pressure, had the same problem on mine, some people think it'll make more power with higher pressure.

The car will make more power with higher pressure and I've seen this done and actually working but its not a good practice. Wanna increase your fuel pressure get a good pump and a decent adjustable FPR.

I am still trying to find the problem , without going through the expensive process of elimination. I have also noticed that she is running fine up to .5 bar boost and then between .5 and .8 is when the holding back is there. I have a feeling it is fuel related. The 1 injector is also still leaking. I got another injector from Faheem and bought all 4 new insulaters and o-rings from Nissan , but 2 or 3 days later the 1 injector starts to leak again.
If money wasn't an issue , I would start with new injectors , fuel pump and management. Which by the way brings up another question.... Diktator or Nistune ?
