I have noticed on other cars that use the LED bulbs for indicators that:

1) It is barely visible under direct sunlight
2) It changes the rate at which the indicator flashes - it flashes quite abit faster

Just FYI.

The tempo is determent by the wattage of the bulb, the lower the wattage the quicker it will flash seeing that you flasher unit is build for a certain wattage.

Well I built my own little lights for the indicators(side ones) ith about 6 LED's per light and they flash constant with the rest of the indicators. I had to however put a resistor or two in drop the voltage.

but they are bright in sunlight too :D

Sorry to correct you, but the tempo is determined by the resistance.
