:lol: :lol: I should know this out of my head by now ,we ship so many tyres 'back' to durban. :lol: :lol: :lol:

We generally ship airport to airport, these generally arrive the next day, once payment is reflected in our account. Airport shipment is more efficient than regular road freight.

the costs are based on volumetric weight and differ with tyre dimensions. They are as follows for the 235/40/17.

1Tyre=R170
2Tyres=R270: R135.00 a tyre
3Tyres=R400: R133.34 a tyre
4Tyres=R520: R130.00 a tyre
5Tyres=R625: R125.00 a tyre
6Tyres=R740: R123.34 a tyre

Tired of calculating now...lol....basically if there are group buys, you guys get discounts for the number of tyres and then if there is shipping involved you can see the cost per tyre is reduced.

You can of course arrange for your own shipment and we can leave the tyres Ex-Works for your courier to collect.

Please note DBN, JHB are lower rates than PE, EL, George, BLM and other small airports who deal with cargo.

:wink: I got a meeting...chat soon....and call me if you need anything.

THe UTQG rating is 180 AA A.

So this is a tyre with generally a short lifespan, because of it's intended use and soft compound structure. The rating also means that this tyre is good under wet weather driving and braking. keeping in mind this is a semi slick. ;)

But....with that said....driving with it daily in a non abusive manner would give you a fair lifespan.

I drive with them, have had them on the car for approximately 27000 kms. I really didn't expect this kind of mileage. But then again. To each their own....when it's time to race I race, when not...I don't. ;) So I don't abuse them all the time.

Now, I don't make much power and I do abuse it at the track on drags and main circuit and I've noticed that...while they don't take much of a pounding, they also don't become 'disfigured' after an Open Track Day..so they are up to the challenge of Drag/Race abuse.

Note: As with any directional tyre you will exprerience harmonic road noise....I must admit my car's exhaust and intake are too loud so that's the least of my worries..... :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

It depends really on how you drive, to be honest....these are soft 'semi slicks'....

Generally with UTQG rating's for the general public. Rating's over 100 are good and under 100 mean they are 'bad'....but Ala M3 CSL with Michelin Pilots at a hectic 80 A A......they soft and grip leka but are sad in the wet :lol: :lol: :lol:
