Wanted : Turbo

Post by Fastlane »

Hi guys

I've finally rebuilt my motor only to find that the turbo is cooked, I think??! (car smoking). I'm looking for a T25 or T28 replacement turbo for my Ca18det.

Not sure about the lag, can't remember the AR of the turbine, but they can spec a turbo for you. T28/T3, T3/T4, etc...

Howsit

I have one on my car from mr turbo and it is an excellent turbo.it has no lag at all and boost comes in very strong.it seems to run out on the top same as the t25 coz of the 0.48ar exhaust housing it comes with.repair kit for this turbo costs R250 and most parts fit the garret turbos.plus adj actuator

IT THE SAME WITH THESE CAUSE THE EXHAUST HOUSING IS AR.48.THE SR20 TURBO HAS A AR.80 EXHAUST HOUSING WHICH GIVES SOME LAG BEFORE 3500RPM BUT IS STRONGER ON THE HIGHER RPM.I THINK A T28 WITH A AR.64 EXHAUST HOUSING WOULD BE PERFECT FOR OUR ENGINES.
