VSS - cant get mine to work

the last little bit of electronics that wont work in my s13 with sr20det conversion is the speed sensor!

the one on the gearbox that gives the speedo its readout.

any ideas?

i've plugged it in both ways - i.e. green wire to green wire, and black to black, and then vice versa too. no speed registering on the dash!

Mine works fine...

try the CA one. Might be that its the SR one thats bust.

anyone got a spare CA one for me to test with?

also - i'm assuming all my gearbox oil will piss out when i remove it? cos thats just going to be seriously annoying!

At least 250ml

Ive got one but it reads slower than what your doing.

Anytime. It reads 13Km/h slower.
