Ive got the same problem it feels like a flat spot until about 4800+- wil change filter tomorow and test it

Check if the vacuum pipes are connected as fuel pressure rises when in boost and if the fuel pressure reg pipe is off pressure will be low........can also be fuel pump but as you had the head off you might have forgotten to put back a vac pipe or two.
Changed the feul filter it was blocked cant blow thru it and when you blow in reverse it looks like mud pissing out
Wil give it a test 2 morrow
