Do I need an Uprated Fuel Pump

Post by Alphat »

Hiya,

I've got an S14 with an SR20DET. I want to be able to run 1 Bar of boost but have heard you can end up running lean under full load as the stock fuel pump can't cope.
Is it necessary to get an uprated fuel pump?
I'm looking at the Walbro 255Lph pump, where's a good place to get this in the Jhb area?

Thanks

It's a good safety precaution on any modded sx.
Diesel power, hmm, yes, I think I'll have some of that.
