The EGR on the SR20...
is this also part of it?
the pipe from the exhaust mani to the intake? do I need that pipe? cause mine was uhm well cut in two....

Yip,
The EGR is a system that bleeds air into the exhaust to help the cat IIRC. Even though South African S14's didnt have Cats AFAIK.
So you remove that pipe and the 2 bits that look like they belong on a geyser in the roof of your home. This will leave a hole in you exhaust manifold, and a hole in your intake and a homeless vacuum line, the exhaust side can be blocked with an appropriate bolt, the intake side needs a nice piece of metal cut to the rough shape and bolted to the intake with some gasket maker to stop air from leaking out, commonly referred to as a blank-off plate, the homeless vacuum line can be blocked off.

Ok so I blocked the idle control valve....
Now... I know I can use the S13's power transistor and the Wastegate control... now does the S13 have a boost pressure sensor?
