Hi Guys
About 2 years ago I bought my S14. wasn’t long and it broke. Been standing since then. I have some cash to fix it now.
So the car over heated a few times. Couldn’t find the water leak. Found it when the head came off. Water pipe feeding the turbo. Oil was a mess. Serviced the car just after I got it but damage was already done.
Sent in the head. Both cams, all rockers need to be replaced. The block is still in the car. But think there will be more damage there. Please could I have some advise. Would it be better to just get a jap import? Where would be the best place to get one?

i've just done a full rebuild on my sr20det and it wasnt THAT expensive.
there are so many aftermarket parts available that you could easily spend over 50 grand on the motor alone, but it is also not necessary!
you could easily do a rebuild for under 10 grand if you can do most of the work yourself!
