Depends on if your alarm system has the central locking function.

If it doesn't you cant hook it up.

Check that first.

and my best bet would be to go to an alarm fitting place such as radio auto sonic or so and let them check it for you!

Hey Wez!

Ok first off like hanco said your alarm has to have a central locking function. most of them have so ja...

secondly the driver side door works with a micro switch, thus no motor. the passenger door does not have a micro switch or a motor in stock form. so you will need to add a central locking motor in the passenger door, and the microswitch will suffice in the driver side one.

So thats an alarm that can handle central locking, central locking motor in left door and wiring for all the components.... But best bet is to take it to someone who does vesa alarm installs.

Always!

oh and Wez. If your alarm doesn't support the C/L feature try going for something like this:

<a href="http://www.autostyle.co.za/prodview.php ... locking">4 door central locking kit with remote</a>

you get a remote and 4 motors, you also get the kit for a 2door car... will be cheaper.

uhm... my central locking works with the key too. i dont have an alarm, but when i lock the drivers door, the passenger door locks too. same for unlocking.

what gives?

Its possible your doors both have micro switches... thus locking and unlocking both. My left door didn't have a micro switch in, so I just though it came out like that. thus the above qoute.

Mine did this for some reason. Central locking worked with remote.
Then all of a sudden it stopped working and only worked with the key. Then I fiddled under the dash and it started working again.

Central locking in my sx has also stopped working, think it is because people were fondling under the dash.

it unlocks with the remote but doesn't lock.

and as far as i know they all came with central locking.
