I see no point in it. You try keep your intercooler as cold as possible so putting it next to a hot radiator is just silly.

this is what i'm doing.
it keeps the pipes very short.
it also keeps the intercooler away from the radiator.
it also ensures that both get good airflow.
and it makes your bonnet look hawt, and be functional at the same time.

Ja the v-mount layout is still the best, has been used by Japanese touring car series and D1 since the start.
I am opting to go that route to!

I was thinking of doing it since the s13's nose is very pointy and not a lot of space for a big cooler or atleast if you do a big cooler half of the cooler sits behind the bumper getting no air.
@VC...Are you going to it with the sr20det??

I would think the rad's heat would have a negative effect.
Good Idea but I don't know if its practical
