Hi guys. My clutch is slipping heavily now after the FMIC and my turbo is smoking like a 70 year old nicotine addict! I'm gonna send the clutch in so they can make me a copper one, 4 PUK I think. Will a copper clutch upgrade be enough to withstand the power? So far I've done 63mm zorst, dumpvalve, cone filter and FMIC kit... Also I'm gonna send the turbo(standard) in to Mr. Turbo to get recon and all that, but while they do that they said that they could possibly change the compressor housing (boost side) to a T3 which sounds like a good plan... T2.5/T3 Will this be a good idea because I want to run 0.85 bar on the turbo... Will this give me more power? What troubles will I run into if any with a T2.5/T3 turbo? Thanx
I would recommend uprating you pressure plate and then going with a ACT 6 Puc clutch plate from "Rezlo" . I have a custom made "Copper" and the local workmanship will never match the years of experience of ACT in fact I do regret going for the cheap alternative
Secondly I wouldn't recon the T 2.5. I would rather move onto new T28 of an SR20DET black-top this turbo should be in your price range if taking into account the rebuild and upgrade and will likely get you very closed to maxing the stock injectors

I'm looking at the ACT clutches from rezlo but don't know where to get an upgraded pressure plate. And all the spare shops only sell complete kits.
The ebay pressure plates are way too expensive to import.
From what I hear, the same clutch places that can make up a copper clutch using your stock center can also change the clamp force of the teeth on the pressure plate.
