Would anyone know off hand a rough price for new or even 2nd hand hydaulic lifters for an S14 SR20DET
Mine are starting to make a bit of a noise and would like to replace them in the next little while

SR lifters don't just get noisy.
Have you recently had a cam upgrade or change done? I reckon the lifters where not bled properly.

a friend of mine once told me that his s14 lifters were about 30 bucks each! or it could've been 60 bucks!!!
either way - its still a lot cheaper than the ca18det bucket lifters which nissan sells at about 500 bucks a pop! or something crazy like that!

No cam upgrades done to the car, well none to my knowledge.
Had the turbo replaced and new oil lines put in. The tappits started making a bit of a noise after that, and now just been getting louder and louder.
Nissan want R753 per lifter, found a place in fordsburg that sells them for R22
