hey guys...

i had a good look at my fuel rail this weekend...

i'm almost sure its assembled with a brased joints, which probably means that the section that is bent can be removed, and replaced.

all i now need to know is where i can take the fuel rail to be fixed. it would need to go to someone with excellent brasing skills...

any suggestions!???!

the fuel rail is still attached to the fuel pump, if we angle grind it there is a risk of fire! I'm a savage, not doff!

Arg VC... you can buy fuel rail buy the length, cut it to the size you want and braze the ends back on. Brazing is super simple aswell so you will have no problem there.

If the bend is not too excesive you can just heat it up and bend it straight, orange is a good colour  .

Hay! you can try Media hydraulics. They do silver soldering.

I THINK FIRST OF ALL YOU MUST TAKE EVERYTHING OFF THE FEUL RAIL
HEAT IT UP & CHECK IF THE THING IS SOLDERED TOGETHER,IF SO THEN IT WILL BE EASY TO FIX. I THINK BRASING/SOLDERING IS JUST ABOUT THE BONDING SOLUTION YOU HAVE TO APPLY & AFTER THAT ITS PRETTY MUCH THESAME AS SOLDERING IT WITH LEAD OR WHATEVER.
I SAY CUT THE SECTION OUT, GET A RADIUS PIPE THAT FITS EXACTLY OVER THE CUT OUT SECTION,SLIDE IT OVER & SOLDER IT IN LIKE THEY DO WITH PLUMBING.
ALL THE STUFF YOU'LL FIND AT YOUR LOCAL HARDWARE & WILL WORK JUST AS FINE!
