Its with great pride that the Mad Dog Racing Club brings to you, the fanatic drag racing fan, the Second leg of the Regional Championship at the old ODI Raceway, now Called the Mad Dog Raceway, a mere 40 kilometers from Pretoria.

Pretoria fans are in for a treat, as never before in the history of Drag Racing, has this happened. All the top guns in the country is set to be competing as to qualify to compete in the South African Championships. Yes a first for Pretoria

The following classes will be competing on race day:

• Senior Eliminator class with some of South Africa’s Quickest cars in action, and will feature top names such as Venessa Fourie – the quickest lady driver in South Africa. Gavin Wilkens in his Ultra Quick Ford Sierra, Stan Huebsch in his Bella-Bella rail, Fanie and Rudi Fourie,Christo Vosloo and special appearance by the only privately owned funny car in South Africa, Mr Lional Kruger in the “ UNDERTAKER”,
• Super Competition Eliminator will be well represented with a huge battle between comeback lady Nicole Fourie , Dudley Palmer and Russel Slater, Anton and Isabel Raats. This class also caters for the “ Rocket Pocket” cars caters, and will have huge field
• Competition Eliminator
• Street Modified cars will be the rage of the day between Awie Pretorius, Belinda Havenga, Robbie Staats, Raymond Goble, and Dennis van Logrenberg
• Street Stock cars
• S Bikes will see lots of action coming from the legend Peter de la Rey, Tony de Matos, Jossie McDonald, Michael Louw and newcomer Zedvi van Zyl set to rise at the occasion
• SB Bikes
• Quads will be new to the Regionals and these quads reaching 170 km/h on the ¼ mile, - SHERE MADDNESS

• Gates open @ 07h00 and racing from 09h00 – 16h00.
• Motorsport South Africa affiliated.
• PRE ENTRIES ONLY.
• Refreshments will be available, but cooler boxes and braai’s are welcome.
• Now revamped with proper fencing and 100sqm of newly build toilet facilities
• Water facilities in the pit area.
• ¼ Mile action to rock your sole.
• Sleepover from Saturday afternoon.
• Security from Saturday afternoon @ 18h00, Gates will be closed at 22h00 and the manned.

HOW TO GET THERE FROM JOHANNESBURG/ EAST RAND

Take the N1 (Ben Schoeman Highway) to Pretoria. This will become Potgieter Street with Prison on your left. Proceed down Potgieter Street until you get Church Street. Turn left in Church street until you get D.F. Malan Drive. Turn Right in D.F. Malan Drive and go straight until you get the PPC Cement factory on your left. Proceed past until you get Makro on your left. Just after Makro you will get a turnoff that says Mabopane. Chuck a left onto this road – called the Mabopane free-way. Proceed over the mountain. Take the M20 HEBRON turn-off. Turn left and go straight. Be on the lookout for the “MARULA Sun” boards. Proceed straight on until you get the Marula Sun 3 km board. There will now be a 4 way stop. Zero your Speedo and go across the 4-way for 8.4 kilometers. At 8.4 kilometers you will find a Liquor store on your Right. Across the road is a road that turns Left. Turn Left and follow this road. This will lead you to the Track Entrance.
