A/c and center console not working

Aircon is working just not cold, a small wiff of cool air comes out, better to open the window. Have had it re gassed. Gary says that, thats the best you will get out of these cars old aircon system etc. Can anyone help or do i just give up on the aircon?

The blower works but cant change the direction. The lights come on but wont change to you feet, the window etc. Have checked the fuses by the drivers side.

the factory service manual aircon section says that when it is working properly, the air coming temp at the vent should be around zero degrees.

so something is wrong!

that would make it very cold. Think it is about 17 degrees. Any ideas or must i just take it back.

when my aircon was working it did make very cold, so something seems to be wrong yes.
