someone PLEASE tell the guy (Tim?) that sound offs and dyno days arent spectator sports FFS!

especially not deserving the centre-of-attention spot like last time

as much as i enjoyed the outing (mostly for the beer and the weird corn-in-a-cup crap) i thought the event was stupid

i had to say that, but i really enjoyed the outing. BUT (and its a BIG BUT) if i went alone and i werent there with the club i would have chewed through my wrists just after i've burned down the place.

we go to motor sport days to see some motion, not a line of velocities and snot nosies wanting to see what their super ultra hyper cheap cars can do

come on!

i'm with widow on this one,

all the attractions at the event are there for a reason. some people like sound-offs, others like dyno competitions...

but i was there because i like to see cars going in circles!!!   so why not place the other attractions outside of the big circle where the cars can like to drive???

Being able to have your car washed by some cute girls for R50 (and for charity) was an awesome idea, pity I stood in the stupid dyno queue for like 2 hours. Was at least interesting hanging out with Iceman/Ero and the other dudes while that Celica did 380kw or something.
