Hi all.
I fitted a somota cone filter yesterday and nou the cars going worse again, should i take it back to the dyno or what? Back to toppic, ive noticed a lot of feul is lying on top of my intake underneath the injectors so obviously they are leaking witch i think can be half of my problem. The question now bothering me is if i replace them witch size do i go for seeing that i yust have the filter, zorst and unichip. I dont think ill be doing much more than that to the ca settup.
Thanx

unless you can modify your management you should stick with the same size injectors.
and...
if you have a fuel leak like that then you should definitely invest in a FIRE EXTINGUISHER.
its kak watching your car burning down on the side of the road! and murphy likes to pick on us SX owners!

So whats the standard injectorsize for my ride? O and do you have a contact for FIRE EXTINGUISHERS(smallish lack of space).

autozone, midas, builders warehouse for fire extinguishers. go for a 1.5kg one at a minimum.
stock injectors are 370cc.
if you can upgrade (have editable management) then rotary injectors are a direct fit and are 550cc. very nice upgrade!

Yes you would be able too, the car also goes worse now because your air fuel ratio is out because of the filter letting through more air....

Yes i realise im getting more air through but shouldnt my AFM pick that up relay it to my ECU witch will then do the nessesary?

In a perfect world that must happen but you must realise that the chip now tells the ECU what to do, it still takes the info and adjusts but it was set on a sertain map witch is now diffarent....

So then it doesnt point to a faulty AFM?

It could and also to a dirty one....still remember that all the sensors will only adjust to sertain parameters...not more....if you are over that a brand new AFM won't bypass those parameters...
