I love them as much as I hate them... hate the fact that its unreliable, but there are few things that comes close to that turbo feeling

 Tricksy poll options, I'm sure my turbo doesn't have too many miles left in her either.
Diesel power, hmm, yes, I think I'll have some of that.

The 360 thrust bearing helps that there is very little lateral moovement from back preassure and it also slightly helps when you boosting higher sothat your turbo holds out longer...

Bru you in jhb....Mr turbo or turbo exchange....

turbo's are there to boost, if you can't use them to boost what good are they for... Thats why I think some rebuild places are just shady... They might use crappy bearings and methods to rebuild turbo's thus they don't last long, why does factory Garrett ones last so long?

I've had turbo's at Stallion, I've had turbo's rebuild by Turbo Exchange none lasted more than a year... Unfortunately I don't have R9000 to forkout on a new one :? Got more impartant shit to do with my money than buy turbo's

Yeah those rebuild okes should do decent jobs, that is what rebuild are for! I inquired about a new turbo before I bought my second hand T28 new one that I wanted was R85xx odd, secondhand with rebuild R3000, a rebuild is suppose to be as good as new... I don't have that extra R5000
